About Y&A Legal
Y&A Legal was founded in August 2025 by Aakarshika Chawla and Yuvraj Rana, two Delhi-based advocates with a combined background in commercial litigation, arbitration, and regulatory advisory.
The idea behind the firm came from a gap both founders kept seeing: India’s startup and small business ecosystem is growing fast, but good legal guidance hasn’t kept pace. Many law firms specialize narrowly, handling either contracts or litigation, but not both. Others offer full-service counsel at fees that put them out of reach for early-stage founders and small businesses. And the lawyers best placed to help aren’t always easy to find or approach.
Y&A Legal was built to close that gap. On the corporate side, the firm advises startups, SMEs, and international clients across India on incorporation, contract drafting, DPDP Act 2023 compliance, POSH compliance, and the regulatory questions that come up as a business grows. On the litigation side, the firm represents individuals and businesses in civil, criminal, and commercial matters before courts in Delhi, alongside arbitration and dispute resolution work.
Across both sides of the practice, the approach stays the same: clear communication, practical advice, and legal work that fits how clients actually operate.
